IT Support Engineer II - Purchase
Description
RFA, a growing IT consulting firm with large financial services client base is seeking experienced Help Desk Support Technicians for our Purchase, NY office. Qualified candidates must have the ability to resolve network issues. There are 3 different openings with the following shifts:
Mon - Fri 8am to 7pm
Mon - Fri 2pm to 11pm
Mon - Fri 7am to 4pm
Hands-on networking experience and remote experience are required. Candidates must possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work within a team environment. Excellent listening and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a focused manner.
Requirements
PC hardware/software and networking knowledge a must.
All Windows operations - NT/2000/2003 Server MS Exchange, VPN's, Corp Antivirus, Networking, Active Directory, MS Office, Outlook and Blackberry (or other wireless email) support.
Layer 3 switching, routers, firewalls & video conferencing, back-ups, and data replication experience is desired.
Any experience with related applications such as Bridge Station, Bloomberg, and Reuters or Disaster Recovery is a plus.
